About the Role

An exceptional opportunity to join a leading insurance broking and advisory firm, supporting private equity clients through the full lifecycle of M&A transactions. You’ll play a key role in assessing insurance programs, identifying risks, and delivering strategic insights that inform investment decisions and post‑close integration. Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead and support the commercial insurance due diligence process for private equity transactions, managing engagements from initial review through to completion. You’ll analyze target company insurance programs – including structure, claims history, collateral, and spend – to identify uninsured risks and coverage gaps, and work closely with internal specialists, private equity deal teams, target company leadership, and third‑party advisors to ensure a thorough and efficient diligence process.
You’ll also help identify and resolve transaction‑related insurance issues, collaborating with clients’ legal, financial, and operational advisors. In addition, you’ll support the placement and underwriting of Representations & Warranties (R&W) insurance, prepare and present detailed due diligence reports summarizing key findings and recommendations, and assist portfolio companies post‑close to align insurance programs and risk management strategies with private equity‑backed structures.
We are interested in talking to candidates at all levels from Associate to Director (1–10 years of experience) who have gained experience within a brokerage or carrier environment, preferably in a Project Manager role with insurance due diligence experience within M&A. You should have a solid understanding of commercial insurance lines and want to work directly with private equity funds and other investors.
