Insurance Associate Consultant and Account Management

We are recruiting for an Insurance Associate Consultant and Account Management ("Associate Consultant") to join our nationwide insurance team. This role is located in New York City, Chicago, or Lansing, MI.

This position affords an immediate opportunity to contribute as an integral member of a team delivering a broad and diverse range of client insurance services to our clients.

The role provides extensive client-facing opportunities and is purposely designed to provide broad-based exposure to the design, development, and implementation aspects of insurance coverages. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executing insurance analyses and securing appropriate coverages and levels of coverages that involve developing business solutions and responsible advice for clients.
• Research/learn new insurance trends related to the industry. May serve as the Practice’s expert in certain types of coverages.
• Develop quote memos, marketing collateral, and review client deliverables (including emails) for accuracy and quality.
• As appropriate, performing as a client contact on a day-to-day basis, sustaining effective advisory rapport with clients, and contributing in meaningful ways to the creative and problem-solving thought processes.
• Assist with pricing proposals, attending finalist interviews, trustee meetings, researching prospects, and other business development activities as sometimes requested.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience within an insurance firm, consulting firm, broker and/or progressive corporate environment. Work experience must include involvement in the analysis and delivery of a broad range of insurance coverages including Cyber; D&O;
  Professional Liability; P&C insurance advice.
• Bachelor’s degree any major with a quantitative or risk curriculum and a writing component.
• Current insurance licenses in relevant geographies or ability to secure such licenses within 30 days.
• Industry credentials including Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU);
  Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation highly preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative ability.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral / writing) along with ability to interact with a diverse audience of colleagues and clients.

The current salary range for this position is $84,000 to $105,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
