Insurance Service Professional – New Business Processing 92956
Join New York Life Insurance Company as an Insurance Service Professional in the New Business Processing team. This role supports agents, clients, and management in the onboarding and policy application processes.
LocationHybrid – 4 days per week.
Role OverviewAs a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will assist agents through the entire new business lifecycle. You will coordinate underwriting requirements, manage policy applications, and provide support for licensing, billing, and policy changes.
What You’ll Do- Provide excellent day‑to‑day customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management, via in‑person, phone, or electronic communication.
- Coordinate underwriting requirements by interacting with agents, clients, external medical vendors, and underwriters.
- Assist with workflow of applications for life products, annuities, contract changes, policy billing, and accounting entries related to the new business process.
- Answer incoming calls and greet customers; additional ad‑hoc responsibilities may be assigned.
- 2 or more years of customer service and administrative experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience.
CSRs receive on‑the‑job training on the insurance industry, product and policy provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback are provided to build success.
Shift InformationFull‑time, Monday to Friday. Candidates should be flexible to work any 7.5‑hour shift between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
CompensationCompetitive base salary, overtime eligibility plus target bonus. Salary Range: $45,000 – $50,000. Additional discretionary bonus available.
