A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire an
** Claims Director, Professional Liability.
** In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for managing mid to complex professional liability claims (including D&O, E&O, MPL and other PL cases). Claims will include a range of litigation and coverage matters which you will be responsible for. You will also conduct claims audits and other technical duties.
** Job Requirements.
*** 5+ years handling complex professional liability claims (ideally D&O and E&O claims)
* Exposure to other professional lines claims beneficial including MPL and Transnational Risk etc.
* Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential – including large loss PL policies
* Experience working closely with Legal/ Claims Counsel and other internal / external teams
* JD Law – preferred but not essential to be considered

This position must be on a hybrid schedule from NYC, NJ or CT with an excellent base salary up to $180,000 + 20% annual bonus and other long-term incentives (total compensation circa. $250,000). The role has an excellent route of progression. Please note we cannot consider remote candidates.
