Commercial Auto Claims Associate

Our client is seeking an Auto Claims Associate to join their growing NYC team. This individual will support the end-to-end claims process for auto claims, gaining hands‑on experience and building foundational knowledge in claims handling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to launch their career in the insurance industry.

• Assist in the investigation and evaluation of auto claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing under supervision.
• Manage an assigned caseload of entry-level claims, maintaining organization and meeting service‑level expectations.
• Communicate professionally with policyholders, claimants, and vendors to gather necessary documentation and provide updates.
• Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and contribute to periodic status reporting and internal documentation.

• 1 - 3+ years of insurance claims handling experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and using claims management software and related systems.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
