The Operations Specialist (Loss Control) is responsible for processing, ordering and monitoring inspections and updating the relevant company systems. This position supports the loss control needs of our various underwriting teams.

This is a hybrid role that can be in New York City, Morristown, or Elmsford, NY.

What you will do for C&F:

• Order Loss Control inspections on various inspection vendor web sites
• Manage and triage tasks and documents using a document retention and workflow system (Image Right)
• Monitor and update Seneca’s in-house inspection tracking system (Senspec)
• Review inspection aging reports and investigate aged inspections
• Coordinate information requests between inspection vendors and underwriters
• Generate recommendation letters per underwriter specifications

What you will bring to C&F:

• Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to balance a wide range of time sensitive responsibilities and multiple different applications
• Strong reading comprehension and communication skills
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Familiarity with Windows, web-based applications and technology is strongly preferred
