Commercial Lines Account Manager

Overview

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their team in the NY Metropolitan area.

Join our team as an Commercial Insurance Account Manager with a focus on construction clients. In this role, you’ll support experienced account managers and producers in servicing contractors, builders, and developers.

• Assist with day‑to‑day servicing of construction accounts, including issuing certificates of insurance, processing endorsements and updating client records.
• Support the team in managing coverage such as general liability, workers’ compensation, builder’s risk and commercial auto.
• Help review contracts and insurance requirements under supervision to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Respond to client inquiries and carrier communications with professionalism and accuracy.
• Participate in training sessions to build knowledge of insurance products, agency systems and construction industry exposures.
• Collaborate with senior account managers and producers to deliver excellent client service and maintain strong relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience); coursework in business, finance or risk management a plus.
• Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with agency management systems is a plus but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
