Broker Account Manager

In this role you will be working as a Broker Account Manager for a client that is in the employee group benefits industry. In this role you will be responsible for managing and creating case installations, on-boarding, claims, troubleshooting, and daily service tasks for large group plans.

This is a direct hire role that must be performed on-site.

The pay on this role is $50,000 to $70,000

• Bachelors Degree and/or experience
• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or health insurance field
• Can be from a carrier, broker, or General Agency
• Must be HIGHLY Proficient in Excel (Formulas, pivot tables, and macros), Word, and Power Point
• NY State Health, Life, Accident License highly preferred
  
  Must be familiar with large group market (100 lives) and small group market (under 100 lives)
• Proficient with employee benefit compliance (ERISA, ACA, ect)
• There will be some selling opportunities but sale is not a requirement
• Have some experience conducting meetings, employee education sessions, and client renewal presentations
• Ability to produce RFP's
• Ability to resolve claim and billing issues
• Ability to assist in submitting individual and group applications
• Process enrollment, termination, and change requests with insurance carriers
