NYCBased In-office Position
Fairmont is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to service our personal lines clients. This role is central to the client experience and requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a service mindset. You will be a trusted point of contact for clients and a key partner to our producers and carriers.
What You’ll Do- Work to build our personal lines business, including auto, homeowners, umbrella, and related coverages
- Manage day‑to‑day client needs such as endorsements, renewals, policy reviews, and coverage questions
- Communicate directly with insurance carriers to obtain quotes for new and renewal business, process changes, and resolve underwriting issues
- Deliver timely, clear, and professional communication to clients by phone and email
- Review policies for accuracy and ensure coverage aligns with client needs
- Assist clients with billing inquiries and provide support during the claims process as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within the agency management system
- Seek out, connect, and meet with additional markets for Fairmont to enable us to continue to fulfill our client’s needs
- Minimum of 2 years of personal lines insurance experience (brokerage experience strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of personal lines products and carrier workflows
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, client‑focused communication style
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment
- Experience with AMS 360 or similar agency management systems is a plus
