A Day in the Life of an Inside Property AdjusterAs a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders. Working in this hybrid environment, your primary responsibility will involve virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will be interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through Xactimate and Claims
X Video Collaboration, as well as voice calls, email, and text messages. This role places a particular focus on water losses.

- The Investigator – confidently and independently investigate property claims.
- The Effective Communicator – use phone, email, and video to guide customers.
- The Negotiator – evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, and claimants.
- The Problem Solver – utilize multiple tools and critical thinking skills.
- The Recorder – protect the company financially by documenting work accurately.
- 8 – 4:30 pm Hybrid – Monday/Friday Remote, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in‑office.
- Office location – 28‑07 Jackson Avenue Long Island City, NY 11101 or 1125 RXR Plaza, 11th Floor Uniondale, NY 11556.
- 1+ years of previous customer service experience.
- Previous industry experience is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments.
- Ability to assess property damages and determine claim coverage.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for remote interactions.
- Independent work and efficient time management in a virtual work environment.
- Detail‑oriented and organized, focused on high‑quality claim resolutions.
- Residency near Long Island City or Uniondale, NY is mandatory.
- The training program builds a claims foundation and system knowledge.
- Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement are available.
- Must obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license, including a background check within 60 days of hire.
- The Hiring Manager will work with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure proper licensing.
You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign‑On Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role.

CompensationCompensation range: $64,350 – $131,300, based on experience and qualifications. Background investigation required.
