AI Delivery Lead - Specialty Insurance MGA

A rapidly growing specialty insurance MGA is seeking an AI Delivery Lead to drive the execution of a portfolio of high-impact AI, automation and data transformation initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of business transformation and technology delivery, helping the organisation move AI solutions from pilot and proof-of-concept into scalable, production-ready capabilities that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Working closely with underwriting, claims, operations, distribution, technology and data leadership, you will oversee the delivery of multiple AI programmes focused on improving efficiency, enhancing decision-making and supporting profitable growth.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, automation and intelligent workflow initiatives across the MGA.
• Build and manage a multi-year AI delivery roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with underwriting, claims and operational leadership to identify and prioritise high-value AI use cases.
• Coordinate internal technology teams, external vendors, consulting partners and data specialists.
• Establish governance, delivery frameworks and performance metrics for AI programmes.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and achieve targeted business outcomes.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive adoption and change management activities to maximise business value.
• Track realised benefits including productivity improvements, cost reduction and operational efficiency gains.
• Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

• Strong programme, portfolio or transformation delivery experience within insurance.
• Proven track record delivering AI, automation, digital or data-led transformation initiatives.
• Experience working within an MGA, carrier, broker, insurtech or specialty insurance environment.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, claims and insurance operations.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional programmes involving business and technology teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing third-party technology and consulting partners.
