Sophisticated Coverage Work:Advise insurers across CGL, professional liability, cyber, property, healthcare and complex casualty coverage, with exposure to both advisory and contentious matters.
International Client Exposure:Work with leading US and international insurers and reinsurers, including matters with cross-border and London-market dimensions.
Responsibilities- Advise insurers on coverage analysis, policy interpretation and complex exposures
- Draft coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights and disclaimer correspondence
- Manage discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediation and arbitration
- Work directly with carriers, underwriters and experienced coverage partners
- 4+ years of insurance coverage experience
- Strong policy interpretation and coverage advisory background
- Experience with CGL, professional liability, property, casualty and/or related coverage
- Active New York Bar admission
