Day Interpreting, a division of Day Translations, is committed to bridging language barriers and ensuring clear, accurate communication. We work with professional interpreters worldwide to provide reliable, high-quality interpreting services to clients across industries.

We are seeking skilled Mandarin In-Person Interpreters in the listed cities and surrounding areas. As an interpreter, you will provide on-site interpretation between English and Mandarin in professional settings such as hospitals, courts, schools, community agencies, and business meetings. Assignments will be offered on an as-needed basis, depending on client demand in your location.

• Provide accurate, impartial, and confidential in-person interpretation between English and Mandarin.
• Facilitate communication in medical, legal, educational, community, and business environments.
• Prepare for assignments when applicable, ensuring familiarity with terminology.
• Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and neutrality.
• Adhere to Day Interpreting’s code of ethics and confidentiality standards.

• Fluency in Mandarin and English (native or near-native proficiency in both).
• Proven experience as an interpreter (medical, legal, community, or educational settings preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to attend assignments on-site.
• Professional certification (e.g., court or medical interpreting) is a plus but not required.
