The Role
We’re looking for Italian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Italian language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and responds to Italian speakers — making a real impact on how millions of learners experience the language.

- Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
- Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
- Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
- Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
- Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction
- Native-level proficiency in Italian
- Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
- No prior AI experience required
- Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
- Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
- Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs
