Intellectual Property Associate

The firm seeks a Patent Litigation Attorney to join its Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent litigation, exceptional analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively on technically complex matters involving diverse industries, including technology, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and engineering.

• Litigation Support: Handle all phases of patent litigation, including pre-suit investigations, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, and preparing for trials, hearings, and appeals before federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and other venues.
• Case Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal and technical research to assess patent validity, infringement, and enforce ability; analyze patent claims, prior art, and technical documents to develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with inventors, corporate clients, and in-house counsel to understand complex technologies and provide clear, strategic legal guidance.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar Admission in New York
• 3+ years of experience in patent litigation
