Senior Trial Attorney – Nationwide

• Serve as lead counsel in civil litigation matters involving property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Provide strategic case valuations and timely updates to clients and claims teams.
• Utilize advanced trial advocacy skills and maintain awareness of evolving laws and technology.
• Foster professional relationships within the legal and insurance communities.
• Demonstrate proactive case management, strong work ethic, and exceptional communication skills.

• Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Experience: 3+ years of civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Licensing: Active license in the state of New York.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in law and technology; highly collaborative and organized.

• Examinations Under Oath (Claimant & Medical Providers)
• Multi-claim investigations;

The national salary range for Trial Attorney: $95,000.00-$

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range.
