How will you make a difference as an Associate at Fragomen?- Build, strengthen, and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders, Partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Formulate immigration strategies for intricate matters and present well‑structured, concise arguments.
- Engage with clients at middle and senior management levels, offering counsel and consultation as necessary.
- Act as a business advisor with a comprehensive working knowledge of immigration law.
- Acquire in‑depth expertise in sector‑specific issues and apply this knowledge to client scenarios.
- Ensure self and team follow firm protocols with respect to file maintenance, record keeping, and use of firm technology.
- Research complex technical immigration issues and formulate solutions.
- Independently execute case preparation and filing, developing strategies for complex matters.
- Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities by exploring new business initiatives.
- Supervise Associates and other staff, providing mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Lead continuous improvement processes, seeking opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
- Support Partners/senior team members on client proposals, pitches, and business plans.
- Proactively identify and take part in marketing and business development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across teams locally, regionally, and firmwide.
- Ensure self and team follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk.
- Other duties as required.
- U.S. JD or LLM required.
- Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
- 5-7 years of experience at Associate level.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of immigration law.
- Prior team management experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to exceptional client service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands.
