Legal Research Librarian

Overview

Our client, a premiere international law firm, is seeking a Legal Research Librarian to join the team. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their office in Downtown Manhattan
.

• Conduct research using print and electronic resources
• Provide training to staff on best practices and efficient use of resources
• Obtain requested items via document delivery in a timely manner
• Coordinate requests for materials from third party libraries and interlibrary loans
• Assist with research projects and other tasks, as assigned
• Salary Range: $85-115k annually, based on experience

• Master’s degree in Library Science, required
• 4+ years of librarian/research support experience
• Experience with law firm libraries and resources such as Lexis and Westlaw, highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of library systems and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and library catalog systems
• Dedicated to detail, with excellent communication and organizational skills
