REAL ESTATE CAPITAL MARKETS – LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Real Estate Capital Markets Practice in NYC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial litigation with a focus on real estate disputes, creditor’s rights, and foreclosure matters. • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
• 3–4 years of substantive commercial litigation experience
• Experience with commercial foreclosure litigation and creditor’s rights strongly preferred
• Experience with landlord-tenant disputes and other real estate litigation matters will also be considered
• Background in motion practice, discovery (including e‑discovery), and drafting motions with proper New York citation formatting
• Courtroom experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm is strongly preferred
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong legal research and writing ability, excellent communication and analytical skills, organizational efficiency, and the ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced practice

• Represent clients in commercial foreclosure, creditor’s rights, landlord‑tenant, and other real estate‑related disputes
• Handle motion practice and manage discovery, including e‑discovery
• Draft high‑quality motions, briefs, and legal memoranda with close attention to New York citation standards
• Provide effective litigation strategy and case management support
• Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional client service
• Manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Competitive Salary:
  Annual base salary is expected to range from $260,000–$310,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
