Real Estate Leasing Associate; Senior Level

Our client, a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Leasing Associate in the New York office. The Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country. Applicant must have extensive experience and demonstrated success in drafting and negotiating commercial leases (with an emphasis on retail and industrial leases) from a well-known real estate firm.

Qualified candidates should have strong academic credentials, minimum of 8 years of experience, and a willingness to accept responsibility. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills are essential. This is an exciting opportunity to train and work with a rapidly expanding and nationally recognized practice group. Excellent compensation and opportunity for advancement. Must be admitted to NY bar.

• Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA‑approved law school
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.

Salary range: $345,000 – $450,000 plus bonus. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
