Corporate M&A Associate

New York, NY or Boston, MA

Our client is seeking an associate with 3+ years of private equity transactional experience to join our corporate M&A practice in New York or Boston. Candidates must have experience with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures, private equity funds and financial institutions. Candidates must have the ability to provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team, be willing to quickly integrate into our robust national corporate practice, commit to providing the highest quality of client service in support of a broad range of complex transactions and be dedicated to professional development consistent with this on-track partnership position.

• Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school (T14 school is preferred.)
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure
