An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Real Estate Lending Associate (3–5 years PQE) to join its expanding finance team in either New York or Charlotte. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to high-value transactions and sophisticated lender-side work.
About The TeamJoin a nationally recognized group representing major financial institutions in real estate-secured and asset-based lending transactions. The team supports clients across industries with a collaborative, business-minded approach and a strong pipeline of deals nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Represent lenders in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans
- Draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security documents
- Review title, survey, and due diligence materials
- Advise on structuring and execution of real estate and asset-backed financing transactions
- 3–5 years of real estate finance experience, ideally on the lender side
- Comfortable managing deal flow and drafting loan documentation
- Familiar with both real estate and personal property collateral structures
- Admitted to the NY or NC Bar (or eligible to waive in)
- JD from a respected law school with strong academic credentials
Salary Range: $230,000 – $320,000 (DOE)
