Commercial Real Estate Associate – New York, NY
Gamoran Legal Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our growing New York office. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career working on complex, cross‑market transactions with high‑profile clients across the U.S.
Base Pay Range
: $215,000 – $310,000 per year (depending on experience, skills, and other factors).
About the Role
You will advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects across asset classes such as office, retail, logistics, healthcare/senior living, student housing, hospitality, and data centers.
Responsibilities
- Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Draft and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and joint venture agreements.
- Conduct due diligence: title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews.
- Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including tax, construction, planning & zoning.
- Support clients with day‑to‑day operational real estate matters.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
- 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
- Admission to the New York Bar.
- Strong experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with multi‑jurisdictional transactions, real estate development, capital markets, institutional clients, private equity funds, or REITs.
