Merani Kamara Law Group is a fast‑growing litigation firm seeking a motivated entry‑level legal professional to join our team for an immediate opportunity. We provide hands‑on training, real courtroom exposure, and a clear growth path for attorneys.

Our current need is for an entry‑level attorney or recent graduate who has not yet been admitted. For those not yet admitted to practice, we offer a unique track to attorney where candidates can gain real experience supporting attorneys. Bar admission is not required to start. Responsibilities shift to attorney work if you are already admitted or once admitted if not admitted when you start.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and proofread motions, legal memoranda, and responses.
• Assist with factual research and brief preparation.
• Coordinate signatures and prepare motions, pleadings, and other documentation for filing with the courts.
• Track deadlines and organize case files.
• Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission is not required to start.
• Ability to manage deadlines proactively and communicate.
• High attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work onsite in New York in a fast‑paced litigation environment.
• Capable of starting immediately or with appropriate notice to current employer.
• Ability to pass appropriate background checks.

Benefits and Compensation:

• $75,000 salary while awaiting bar admission.
• $90,000 salary if already admitted or upon bar admission.
