Clyde & Co's New York Office is seeking an Associate with 2–5 years of litigation experience to work with our aviation practice group.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting pleadings, discovery responses and briefs
  • Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients
  • Drafting opinion letters and status reports for clients
  • Conducting legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and Nexis
  • Drafting interrogatories and document demands
  • Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
  • Attending depositions, hearings, oral arguments, and mediations as required
  • Trial experience a plus but not required
  • Submitting filings to the court
  • Candidate must be able to move cases along and conduct all phases of litigation from inception up to trial
Qualifications
  • J.D.
  • Admitted to practice in New York
  • Federal court admittance a plus
  • Litigation experience
  • Excellent analytical and legal writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $180,000–$220,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
