Attorney, Business Immigration Associate
Mid‑Level Business Immigration Associate – New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
Location: Hybrid (New York City)
A leading global immigration law firm is seeking a Mid‑Level Business Immigration Associate to join its dynamic New York office. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with strong business immigration experience who wants to work with sophisticated corporate clients, fast‑growing companies, and multinational organizations across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of employment‑based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, and adjustment of status applications.
- Conduct legal research, draft petitions, responses to RFEs, and other supporting documentation.
- Advise corporate clients on immigration strategy, compliance, and case processing.
- Communicate regularly with clients, HR teams, and foreign nationals to provide case updates and guidance.
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior team members as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned casework.
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).
- 3-5+ years of business immigration experience with a focus on employment‑based non‑immigrant and immigrant categories.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working with corporate clients and high‑volume caseloads preferred.
- Competitive compensation: $150,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
