Position Overview
Lead sophisticated corporate and fund transactions in a dynamic, hybrid environment built for experienced attorneys ready to take the next step.
Responsibilities & Scope- Lead complex funds formation work, including private equity, hedge, or alternative-asset funds.
- Advise on corporate and transactional matters such as M&A, joint ventures, and governance.
- Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on sophisticated regulatory, corporate governance, and fund-formation matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review journalistic and transactional documents under tight deadlines.
- Communicate complex legal issues in clear, business‑focused terms to internal clients and partners.
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and membership in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7 years’ post‑bar admission experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department, ideally focused on funds, financial services, private equity or regulated entities.
- Demonstrated experience with fund formation work and corporate/transactional work (M&A, joint ventures, governance).
- Solid knowledge of U.S. securities laws, investment‑fund regulation, ERISA/tax considerations, and corporate governance.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex legal issues in business terms.
- Strong client‑service orientation, professional maturity, and ability to manage multiple matters and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the capacity to build relationships with senior business executives.
- High‑visibility work with exposure to sophisticated, high‑stakes matters.
- True ownership of work and direct interaction with senior stakeholders.

Base pay range: $190,000 – $250,000 per year.
