We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our litigation department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, with a focus on case preparation, document management, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support commercial and real estate litigation attorneys from pre-litigation and all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and filing documents in state and federal court
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including predicate notices, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Gather, review, and organize voluminous documents and information
  • Maintain and manage electronic case files
  • Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
  • Serve as a liaison with clients, courts, and external parties
  • Coordinate scheduling of meetings, court appearances, and depositions
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including document filing, data entry, word proceeding, and file organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in litigation support, preferably in commercial and real estate litigation
  • Strong understanding of litigation process and legal terminology, particularly in real estate litigation matters
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and cite-checking
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage many cases and timely meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Relativity
