Senior Litigator

A dynamic, data-driven collections company is seeking aSenior Litigatorto handle complex litigation matters and oversee cases from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with 2–3 years of litigation experience to join a dynamic legal team and take ownership of high-value cases.

• Manage a docket of commercial collection litigation matters from filing to post-judgment enforcement.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal courts.
• Represent the company at court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Handle post-judgment enforcement actions, including garnishments, levies, and turnover proceedings.
• Advise internal stakeholders on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and compliance considerations.
• Coordinate and oversee outside counsel where necessary.
• Stay updated on legal developments in collections, MCA, and creditor’s rights.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission inNew York,New Jerseyand/orConnecticuta plus.
• 2–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in collections, commercial finance, or creditor’s rights
• A background in litigation experience with merchant cash advance (MCA) is strongly preferred
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills with courtroom experience.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
