Our client is an AmLaw-caliber and nationally renowned law firm founded in the early 1930's, positioning them as one of New York City's oldest and most respected law firms with a national presence as a premier legal defense firm handling complex civil litigation matters as well as commercial litigation.

The firm has open positions for the following opportunity at their offices based in either Manhattan, NY;
Long Island, NY;
Florham Park, NJ;
Ft. Lauderdale, FL;
San Francsico, CA; or Houston, TX.

The practice centers on insurance, reinsurance, and various other matters spanning across transactional & regulatory compliance servicing sophisticated and bespoke institutional clients.

• Handle complex insurance coverage litigation, including commercial first‑party insurance, reinsurance, third‑party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage disputes.
• Take ownership of motion practice, coverage opinions, discovery, and client communications as part of a collaborative team in a nationally prominent practice.

• JD from an accredited law school and above-average academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law before a state bar (NY/NJ/FL/TX/CA preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in the private practice of law (10 years minimum for the Houston, TX office).

• Admission to multiple U.S. jurisdictions (i.e. NY & NJ).
• Litigation experience handling insurance coverage matters, with substantial experience in all phases of litigation from pre‑litigation management through motion practice and settlement or trial phase.
• Superb legal writing skill and forensic legal analysis and research proficieny.
• Clear platform for long‑term career development within a firm that is nationally and internationally recognized in insurance and reinsurance, and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
