Regulatory Compliance Specialist

An international law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Lawyer Recruiting Administrator to join their New York office. This full-time position is an integral part of the Lawyer Recruiting and Development team, supporting entry-level attorney recruitment and assisting with lateral associate hiring, particularly for the Capital Finance and Real Estate practice group.
The ideal candidate will bring a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of the law student and entry-level attorney recruiting process for the New York office.
- Schedule candidate interviews, arrange attorney participation, and prepare/distribute interview schedules and candidate materials.
- Greet and orient candidates during in-office interviews, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Collect and compile interview feedback for review by the Recruiting Committee or relevant practice group.
- Draft candidate correspondence, including offer letters and rejection notices.
- Support law school outreach efforts by researching and coordinating events at target New York law schools.
- Assist the Recruiting Manager with lateral hiring for the Capital Finance and Real Estate group, including:
- Posting job openings
- Reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews
- Managing candidate communication and scheduling
- Liaising with search firms as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with all applicants and ensure compliance with firm-wide response timelines.
- Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. - Experience
:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or another client-service-focused organization. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with Law Cruit or other applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
