A top-tier global law firm is seeking an
Opportunistic Commercial & Restructuring Litigation Associate
with2–6 years of experience
to join its dynamic New York office. This role offers the chance to work on high-stakes restructuring litigation, bankruptcy matters, and complex commercial disputes involving stressed and distressed companies.
In this position, you will:
Handle
restructuring litigation
in federal district courts, bankruptcy courts, and state courts (including NY and Delaware).
Manage all phases of litigation, from drafting complaints and discovery to motion practice, trials, and appeals.
Collaborate with restructuring, special situations, and finance teams to advise creditors, debtors, ad hoc committees, and institutional investors.
Work on cutting-edge cases involving clawback actions, avoidance claims, preference litigation, and fraudulent conveyance disputes1 8 .
What We’re Looking ForIdeal candidates will demonstrate:
2–6 years of commercial litigation experience
, including restructuring/bankruptcy matters.
Proven ability to litigate in federal and state courts, with familiarity of bankruptcy law and procedure2 6 .
Strong research, writing, and strategic thinking skills to navigate complex disputes.

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is$225,000–$415,000
, with additional performance-based incentives.
This role requires
in-person availability
in New York City.
