Weidner Seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney to represent corporate policyholders in insurance recovery matters. The attorney will manage claims against insurers, negotiate settlements, litigate coverage disputes, and provide strategic counselling to clients on all matters pertaining their policy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Evaluate insurance policies and related documents to identify coverage, exclusions, and limits.
* Lead and manage insurance recovery matters from intake through resolution, including pre-suit demand, and alternative dispute resolution.
* Draft coverage opinions, demand letters, reservation-of-rights responses, and coverage litigation pleadings and briefs.
* Negotiate with insurers, brokers, and opposing counsel to secure prompt and optimal recoveries.
* Coordinate and manage factual expert discovery; prepare and defend depositions.
* Oversee and coordinate with outside counsel and claims professionals as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to state bar.
* 2+ years of legal experience on insurance coverage and policyholder representation.
* Experience drafting coverage opinions, litigating coverage disputes, and negotiating insurance recoveries.
* Strong knowledge of commercial general liability, property, D&O, cyber, professional liability, and other commercial insurance coverages.
