We are currently seeking a Disability Attorney to join our growing legal team. This role focuses on reviewing Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) decisions, identifying errors of fact or law, produce persuasive written arguments, and reviewing peer argument for submission to the Social Security Federal Court.
The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, and a genuine commitment to client advocacy.
Responsibilities:- Review ALJ decisions, hearing transcripts, and medical evidence to identify appealable issues
- Create detailed, persuasive Federal Court briefs and written arguments
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure case files are complete and deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate case tracking and uphold quality and productivity standards
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, New York Bar license preferred but not required
- 1–3 years of experience in Social Security Disability law, administrative law, or appellate work preferred but not required
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
