We have an immediate opening in our virtual office, The Link, for a Financial Services Litigation Attorney with a minimum of six years of relevant experience preferred. The candidate should have experience defending financial services companies in both state and federal courts, along with a working knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and other federal and state consumer protection statutes.

The ideal candidate will also have experience representing mortgage servicers and/or originators in contested foreclosures, quiet title actions, title disputes, and related claims. This is an off-track position with the possibility of a reduced billable-hour requirement and a flexible schedule. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active New Jersey and/or New York bar license.

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in New York and New Jersey only is $125,000 - $175,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
