New York, NY Position Summary

A well-established corporate practice is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions attorney to join its expanding team. The firm represents clients throughout the full M&A lifecycle including public and private, domestic and cross border matters and is known for its deep expertise, efficiency, and long term client partnerships.

• Lead and manage M&A transactions from initial strategy through post closing integration.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional agreements including purchase agreements, merger agreements, joint venture documentation, and operating agreements.
• Advise clients on deal structure, strategic considerations, risk mitigation, and regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, outside advisors, financing sources, and domestic and foreign regulators.
• Build and maintain strong long term client relationships consistent with the firm’s service philosophy.

• 3+ years of substantive M&A experience
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills across a range of deal structures.
• Member of the New York in good standing.
