Position Overview
Join Herrick, Feinstein LLP as a Tax Associate in our New York, NY office. The role requires 3-5 years of experience handling general corporate taxation, partnership & joint venture tax, and New York City and State tax. Experience representing REITs is particularly valuable.
This is an excellent opportunity for growth in a collegial atmosphere that offers hands‑on experience across a wide range of tax matters and opportunities for client development.
Responsibilities- Handle general corporate taxation matters.
- Manage partnership and joint venture tax issues.
- Address New York City and State tax compliance.
- Represent REITs when required.
- 3-5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Admitted to practice in New York.
- Exceptional writing and drafting skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Self‑directed initiative and proactive mindset.
The range of base salary that the firm reasonably expects to pay for this role is $221,000–$273,000. The actual base salary within this range will depend on factors such as years of experience, education, and other job‑related criteria permitted by law.
