A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Restructuring Associate to join its New York office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-profile restructuring matters, advising companies, creditors, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders in complex situations involving financial distress, liability management, and strategic transactions.

The practice is known for combining deep restructuring expertise with strong transactional and finance capabilities, allowing attorneys to advise clients across the full spectrum of financial distress and special situations. The team regularly handles matters involving significant financial and operational complexity and works closely with clients to develop practical, commercially focused solutions.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of restructuring, bankruptcy, insolvency, or related finance experience at a leading law firm.
• Meaningful experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and/or out-of-court restructurings.
• Experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, bondholders, private equity sponsors, or other stakeholders in financially distressed situations.
• Familiarity with restructuring transactions, distressed debt, liability management, debt exchanges, recapitalizations, refinancings, and distressed M&A.
