Location: New York
Ice Miller LLP is seeking a senior-level Real Estate Associate (5-8 years' experience) to join its Real Estate Practice Group. The role involves advising private equity funds, independent sponsors, developers, investors, lenders, and corporate clients on complex real estate and business transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate real estate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and easements
- Lead the real estate aspects of private equity and M&A transactions
- Manage deals from term sheet through closing
- Conduct due diligence including title and survey review
- Structure mortgage, construction, bridge, and mezzanine financing
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active law license in the state of the office location
- Permanent U.S. work authorization required
Salary varies by office location:
New York ($315,000-$375,000), Chicago and Philadelphia ($245,000-$297,000), and Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis ($207,000-$235,000), plus discretionary and hours-based bonus opportunities.
