Bankruptcy Attorney

Based in New York, NY with 9 offices across the East Coast, we are a regional powerhouse law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated bankruptcy and insolvency matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who values client relationships counsel work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to bankruptcy insolvency creditor and debtor matters
• Draft pleadings motions disclosure statements and related bankruptcy documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings before trustees and in court hearings and related matters
• Manage client relationships independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-exposure matters

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New York license in good standing
• 3+ years of bankruptcy law experience with demonstrated expertise in chapter 7 chapter 11 and related insolvency matters
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with legal research platforms case management systems and electronic document platforms preferred
