Associate​/Attorney - Litigation

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a recognized Am Law ranked international firm with a highly regarded litigation platform seeking a 3rd to 5th year Employment Litigation Associate to join its New York, NY office.

This opportunity offers direct access to sophisticated employment disputes for major corporate clients, with substantial courtroom advocacy and front line responsibility. You will work closely with experienced partners on complex, often cross border matters while building a credible platform for long term advancement in a well established employment litigation team.

• Manage complex employment litigation matters, including strategy, case development and day to day case management
• Draft pleadings, motions, dispositive briefs and other key litigation papers in high value disputes
• Take and defend depositions and handle written discovery, including discovery strategy and execution
• Appear in court for important hearings, argue motions and represent clients at mediations
• Work closely with partners and senior lawyers while taking substantive ownership and direct client contact

The firm is seeking a 3rd to 5th year Employment Litigation Associate with:

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, with at least 2 years in employment litigation preferred
• Strong experience in drafting motions, managing discovery and handling complex litigation tasks
• Membership in the New York State Bar and a JD from an accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials with outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in the New York office 5 days per week and thrive in a team environment
• $260,000 to $390,000 base salary, depending on experience
