Associate​/Attorney - M&A and Private Equity

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international firm recognized by Chambers USA seeking a 2 to 3 year M&A and Private Equity Associate to join its New York, NY office.

This platform offers direct access to sophisticated domestic and cross border deals for high growth technology, energy, and finance sector clients, with meaningful execution responsibility from day one. You will work closely with hands on partners in a collaborative environment that combines a global deal platform with clear associate development support and long term advancement potential.

• Advise on public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions across key industry sectors
• Draft, review, and negotiate core transaction documents, ancillary agreements, and corporate governance materials
• Support all stages of deal execution, including due diligence, structuring, closing, and post closing matters
• Collaborate directly with clients, partners, and cross office teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Take substantive ownership of work streams with clear visibility to partners and major institutional clients

The firm is seeking a 2 to 3 year M&A and Private Equity Associate with:

• 2 to 3 years of law firm experience focused on mergers and acquisitions
• Strong grounding in corporate transactional work and drafting of deal documentation
• Membership to the State Bar of New York or clear eligibility to obtain it
• Excellent academic credentials and superior written and oral communication skills
• Motivation to thrive in a fully in office, fast paced environment and collaborate closely with colleagues and clients $235,000 to $260,000 base salary, depending on experience
