Customs Entry Writer

A well-established logistics and customs brokerage organization is looking to add an experienced Customs Entry Clerk to their growing team in New York or New Jersey

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong customs background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to further develop their career within international trade and customs compliance.

• 2+ years of experience processing Air or Ocean Customs Entries
• Experience handling entries involving a range of OGA's i.e.
  FDA
  , CPSC
• Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and import procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience using Cargo Wise is a strong advantage

• Prepare and submit customs entries accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all CBP and partner government agency requirements
• Review import documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely clearance of cargo
