Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Lornamead is seeking an Oral Care Buyer to join its Supply Chain team.

Position Summary

The Oral Care Buyer manages procurement activities that support Planning, Operations, Sales, Finance, Regulatory, R&D, Quality, and other supply chain functions. Working directly withapprovedsuppliers, this role sources raw materials, packaging components,and freight while coordinating purchasing,inventory,and logistics activities. The position requires knowledge of the chemical or packaging industry, strong commercial judgment, and a focus on cost, quality, service, and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing strategies for oral care raw materials, packaging components, freight, and related services.
• Use supplier changes, material alternatives, minimum-order quantities, volume commitments, contracts, and other commercial levers to control costs and mitigate price increases.
• Negotiate purchases and establish contracts for critical materials from approved sources.
• Continuously reduce the total cost of procured goods and services without compromising quality, service, or supply continuity.

• Build and maintain supplier relationships that support quality, contracted pricing, delivery performance, and lead-time requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and address cost, quality, service, or delivery issues with internal stakeholders.
• Support category resourcing, supplier risk mitigation, contract execution, and sourcing strategy implementation.

• Evaluate inventory levels against the production schedule and coordinate adjustments as needed.
• Work with Planning and Operations to support material availability and production requirements.
• Identify supply risks and help develop contingency plans to protect continuity of supply.

• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Planning, and Operations to understand requirements and support business objectives.
• Communicate supplier, cost, inventory, and delivery risks clearly to stakeholders.
• Support departmental and company key performance indicators.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, operations, or a related field.
• Three to five years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Experience using MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders across the organization.

Preferred

• Procurement experience in the chemical, packaging, consumer products, personal care, or oral care industry.
• Experience sourcing raw materials, packaging components, freight, or related services.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using data to support sourcing and inventory decisions.
