Sr Mgr Global Procurement- Lab Consumables

Job Summary

We are currently looking to fill a Senior Manager for the Research and Pre‑Clinical Development (R&pD) Lab Consumables team. In this role you will develop and manage strategies for our subcategories, as well as planning and executing strategic sourcing initiatives.

• Develop sourcing specifications, requirements, and scopes of work for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Gather and assess data through benchmarking, market intelligence reports, and Voice of the Customer (VoC) interviews, and perform analytics on spend, inventory levels, utilization, and KPI measurements.
• Support the definition and implementation of the global Lab Consumables Category strategy.
• Work closely with stakeholders to manage discussions related to the Lab Consumables Categories and align category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
• Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
• Represent Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Lab Consumables categories with critical short and long‑term impact.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with the Law Department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/Bio Pharma.
• In‑depth knowledge of managing global category processes and suppliers.
• Experience successfully managing category processes and suppliers across a breadth of categories.
• Strong cross‑functional team collaboration and results delivery in Lab Consumables or related categories.
• Proficiency in external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement.
• Knowledge of sourcing contracting tools, ERP systems, and eRFx systems (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, etc.).
• Experience with sourcing platform technologies (Lab Viva, Zageno, Science Exchange, , others).
• Proficiency in data analytics, automation and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Power Automate).
• Experience managing inventory management programs including technology solutions, consignment programs, VMI solutions, single‑use materials, bioreagents and media.
• Effective supplier relationship management and risk mitigation.
