Director - Global Logistics & Customer Excellence

The Director of Global Logistics & Customer Excellence will lead global logistics, transportation, customer operations, demand planning, quality, and regulatory functions. This role is responsible for driving operational performance across the end-to-end customer life cycle while ensuring service excellence, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and scalable growth.

• Lead global logistics, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, and customer operations.
• Ensure seamless execution from order placement through delivery while maintaining service, quality, compliance, and profitability objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational standardization, automation, and business process optimization.
• Partner with commercial teams to align customer expectations, operational capabilities, and growth strategies.
• Oversee customer service performance, escalation management, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Manage global transportation networks, 3PL providers, freight forwarders, warehousing partners, and carrier relationships.
• Lead freight procurement, contract negotiations, import/export operations, and trade compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to support product launches and operational readiness.
• Develop and manage operational budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple disciplines.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, fulfillment, customer operations, or demand planning.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ employees in a complex operational environment.
• Proven success managing global logistics and transportation operations.
• Required experience handling chemicals and hazardous materials (Haz Mat).
• Minimum of five years of ocean freight management experience overseeing high-volume international shipments.
• Experience managing annual operating budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Strong background managing 3PLs, warehousing operations, transportation providers, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process improvement, system implementation, or automation initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, and leadership skills.
