Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Industrial Custodian to join our team at a production facility in Rome, NY.The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

This position plays an important role in supporting daily facility operations by ensuring production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas.

Perform routine and deep-cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, floor care, and waste removal.

Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment.

Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Independently prioritize daily cleaning tasks and maintain assigned areas.

Identify and report cleanliness concerns, maintenance needs, and potential safety hazards.

Monitor custodial supplies and communicate replenishment needs.

Follow all company safety policies, sanitation procedures, and applicable regulations.

Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience required.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and workplace safety.

Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and dependability.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical cleaning duties.
