JOB SUMMARY:

The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all facilities, housekeeping, ordering, maintaining cleaning supplies, scheduling of cleaners at all facilities, and assisting with outside cleaning services (laundry services, rug services, etc.).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Plan and oversee cleaner’s schedules at all NY facilities
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and order as needed from preferred vendors
• Train staff in proper cleaning techniques and use of chemicals and equipment
• Observe, monitor, and ensure compliance with all safety requirements and practices, including taking action to stop if safety is compromised
• Access computer systems to order cleaning material
• Create and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders for each site
• Coordinate with outside cleaning services (carpet cleaning, vinyl floor maintenance, window maintenance)
• Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills to hire, promote, discipline, transfer, and terminate cleaners
• Uphold all policies and procedures and resolve conflict
• Review and approve time management records
• Attend training as needed or assigned
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• General housekeeping knowledge
• Good organizational and communication skills with internal and external customers
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to schedule and collaborate with outside vendors
• Provide own source of transportation (car or truck) for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

$23.00 per hour - $34.00 per hour

($47,500 - $72,500 annually)
