Manager Facilities Operations at Paramount
OverviewThe Manager is responsible for facilities operations and services for the Broadcast Center and offices at 555 West 57th Street. Provide supervision and guidance to electrical, engineering, and facility services employees to support routine preventative maintenance, EH&S policies, ESG goals, and capital program implementation.
Responsibilities- Create and implement preventative maintenance programs for all MEP systems in coordination with operating engineers, maintenance electricians, and facility service directors.
- Supervise Local 30 Operating Engineer and Local 3 Maintenance Electrician staff.
- Assist with office management, including employee records, timekeeping, purchase orders, and invoice payments.
- Ensure adherence to Global Workplace standards at each site.
- Oversee and manage capital programs related to facility upgrades.
- Review, report, and manage utility usage in alignment with ESG targets.
- Ensure code compliance with local jurisdictions and OSHA requirements, including maintaining required records and addressing violations.
- Manage vendor relationships: vendor selection, COIs, authorization of work, scheduling, etc.
- Ensure contractors work safely within building rules and regulations.
- Develop, maintain, and update safety protocols, fire response, and emergency action plans in coordination with the EH&S team.
- Schedule maintenance windows to minimize downtime for 24/7/365 facilities.
- Assist finance team with forecasting facilities spending and vendor payments.
- Report to Vice President, Facilities Operations.
- 7+ years of facilities management experience in a 24/7 and/or critical facility (e.g., data center, hospital).
- Working knowledge of emergency power systems and HVAC chiller plants.
- Supervisory experience leading a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Ability to respond during emergencies and special events.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related engineering field.
- Certification in related fields (facilities management, electrical, or engineering) a plus.
- Reliable, proactive, with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Salary & BenefitsHiring Salary Range: $95,000.. The range applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on factors including location, market demands, experience, training, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability benefits, tuition assistance, and PTO. This position is bonus eligible.
