Base pay range$60,500.00/yr - $63,500.00/yr
OverviewScope of Responsibilities:
Oversees the day‑to‑day operations of entire store. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. Provide direct supervision and managerial oversight necessary for the efficient and profitable management of a store.
- Assist in the development of an annual store operating budget, and operate the store within the budgetary guidelines
- Responsible for the hiring, development, performance review, and disciplinary actions of store personnel
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees are adequately trained to perform duties
- Responsible for assignment of duties and scheduling of staff to ensure payroll and productivity budget guidelines are met
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines
- Manage and balance the store inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in‑stock for customer needs
- Ensures in‑store technology is being used to its fullest potential to ensure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life‑span
- Communicate corporate goals to all store personnel, through weekly store meetings
- Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times
- Ensure all Loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
- Ensure all corporate marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implemented
- Assist in the collections and management of all Accounts Receivables, including Third Party, Compensation, and Kinney House Charge
- Ensure all receiving and handling requirements for Kinney warehoused merchandise and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) merchandise are followed
- Ensure all Standards of Presentation (SOP), and Merchandise presentation guidelines are implemented and maintained in a timely fashion
- Interface with various auditors, inspectors, vendors and outside agencies as needed
- Ensure the physical plant is maintained to protect customer and employee safety
- Submit required reports, cashups, timesheets and other requested data to corporate on time
- Ensures all store employees follow all state and federal guidelines regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco
- Attend and actively participate in all Kinney required training/management programs, as requested by Supervisor
- Perform all store clerk duties as needed
- Oversight responsibilities to ensure store is compliant with all state and federal regulations and requirements
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum: AS Degree
- Preferred: BS degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Preferred: 5 or more years previous experience in Merchandising, Store Management or related field
- Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
$60,500-$63,500 Annual
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
